  • Adonis: Masterpieces of Male Erotic Photography
    by Michelle Olley
I was also breathless as I looked through the pages of men. They were incredibly beautiful.
My favorite picture is of the two men in bed together, naked. There is a tenderness to their picture that is absolutely beautiful.
This book is a wonderful celebration of the male form.

  • Titan Men
    by Titan Media (Photographer)
From body-language.com: "Another Bruno Gmunder wonder! If you've seen any of the Titan videos you know what these hunks look like. If you are a twinkie fan, this is NOT for you. If you like REAL MEN, Titan Men will be the book you want or to give as a gift. After looking thru Titan Men you are going to run out and buy steroids and vitamins!"

  • Kool Dude Photographic Diary
    by Lalli X (Photographer)
Lalli's latest collection of male nude images, I think, are among his best. These guys are young, sexy, muscular and very well-defined. You'll find no body fat here. Most of his models are very good-looking with just a few exceptions. This is a small book with mostly colored shots and a few black & white images. It's about the same size as his other book "Sex Machine: Euros 17". In fact, some of the same models from "Sex Machine" are included in this new book in new poses. There are a few nude frontals but most are shown posing in briefs. The lighting, the mood, and the serious look of the models gives this whole book a lurid feel, quite sexy and pornographic.

  • At Ease : Navy Men of World War II
    by Evan Bachner
In the years following World War II, images of comradeship, particularly of men being physically close, largely disappeared from the public record. But, as these stunning photographs attest, ordinary American men in the extraordinary circumstances of World War II were affectionate, winsome, and playful-disarmingly innocent in a time of cataclysmic peril.
Led by photography giant Captain Edward J. Steichen, the U.S. Naval Aviation Photographic Unit was organized during the war to record the daily experiences of Navy men all over the world and provide newspapers and magazines with images to promote the American cause. The unit's photographers, which included Wayne Miller, Horace Bristol, Victor Jorgensen, and Barrett Gallagher, took thousands of pictures of soldiers as they relaxed, trained, prepared for the next battle, and waited.

  • Jack Pierson: Every Single One of Them
    by Jack Pierson
"The subjects in Jack Pierson's latest volume are presented so matter-of-factly that you could easily flip right past photos of the Rock spraying a garden hose or Snoop Dogg squinting hard before realizing that there are, in fact, some celebrities sprinkled throughout this all-male mix. Pierson's point isn't glamour, even though plenty of male beauty is on display. The artist, who was born in 1960 in the historic Massachusettes town of Plymouth, has an eye for Americana, and in this volume, titled Every Single One of Them, it is the California notion of paradise in which he revels. Swimming pools, the ocean, and an endless expanse of male torsos: Pierson trains his lens on all of it. (The artist is represented in the current Whitney Biennial in New York.) And if you think his approach is easy, think again -- the myriad imitators of his rather deadpan, semi-snapshot approach all look pretty banal next to Pierson's real deal."

  • The Homoerotic Photograph
    by Allen Ellenzweig
In "The Homoerotic Photograph", Allen Ellenzweig reminds us that photography has persistently captured the male gaze upon other men. Gathered here are 127 beautiful and provocative duotone photographs that reflect the wide-ranging history of male homoeroticism as revealed by the camera - amply suggesting spiritual, physical, and intellectual exchange between men. To accompany these images, Ellenzweig offers a detailed account of the multiple and complex meanings of the homoerotic, from the 1850s to today. Each artist is placed in historical context, with chapters devoted to specific photographers and eras, beginning with the male nude studies created by nineteenth-century French photographer Eugene Durieu under the direction of painter Eugene Delacroix.

  • SEXBOMB!
    by Lalli X
There is a touch of danger about this book, that is totally hot. It's like you have caught these guys unawares, and they are either going to kiss you or kick your ass. To his credit, the photographer doesn't make any claims about the sexuality of the models, other than that they are sexier than hell. But I have to tell you...most of these guys look like trade to me. And that is, say it with me...A GOOD THING!
